Hair restoration without needles or surgery
Alma TED uses ultrasound and air pressure with a topical hair-care formula to support fuller-looking hair. Treatment does not involve blood draws, scalp injections, or surgical grafts.
What results have been reported?
Alma reports the following findings after three treatments:
- 31% average increase in hair density at six months in a study of 31 participants, including 29 women and 2 men.
- 98% reported less shedding and 96% reported increased hair growth in a separate study of 50 participants.

A comfortable, noninvasive approach
Alma describes sessions lasting about 20–30 minutes. In its 31-person study, no pain or adverse events were reported. Avoiding needles and incisions avoids those procedural steps, but it does not make treatment risk-free. We will review scalp health, sensitivities to topical ingredients, and suitability before treatment.

Ask about the recommended treatment course, follow-up visits, and total price during your consultation. Compare the full cost of each option, including repeat or maintenance sessions. TED is not automatically less expensive than PRP, and a meaningful comparison with surgery requires an individual treatment plan.
